Exhibitions will start Wednesday at 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and
Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (tickets are sold on site in the covered arena $5 each)
Check-in starts on Thursday, May 8th at 9:00 am-5:30 pm. Continues on Friday May 9th at 8:00 am until the 100th horse runs (usually around 11 am)
AQHA Sidepot $50: $1000 added by the AQHA. Membership must be up to date to be eligible for the sidepot. Must have a membership number and registration number to be able to sign up as well. The sidepot will be for the 1st & 2nd Go. No sidepot for the final go.

Josey High Stakes Race is open to everyone (no age limit)! You do not have to be entered in the JR World to be eligible to run. Limit to 100 riders. Race starts at 6:00 pm on Thursday. Entries for this race close at 5:30 pm on Thursday
Fees: $300 for the Josey 2D High Stakes Race (full second splits)
Thursday: Josey High Stakes 2 D Barrel race will start at 6:00 pm (Books close at 5:30 pm for this race)
Friday Josey Jr World Open 4D will start at 8:00 am
Saturday Josey Jr World Open 4D will start at 8:00 am **REVERSE ORDER**
Sunday Josey Jr World Open 4D Short Round (Top 20 from each division each day qualifying) starting after Cowboy Church in main arena.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- To be in the pre-draw for either race, entries must be in by 5/2/25 by midnight.
- No refunds after 5/2/25
- Draw will be posted 5/5/25 by 5:00 pm
- All enties numbers will be given out at check in, including the late draw.
- Pre-order event tshirts: $30 (sales tax included) Cut off is May 2nd
Josey Jr World Barrel Race Rules
All Jr World contestants must be 20 years old or under as of January 1st, 2025.
Refunds, when approved by the Rules Committee, will be 75% of the total Entry Fee (processing fees are non-refundable)
Every effort will be made to post the results of each Go immediately following the completion of the Go.
DRESS CODE: Full Dress Code is required long sleeve shirt and hat (or riding/safety helmet), jeans, and boots are mandatory.
Finalists are requested to be in dress code for final awards presentation and pictures.
Immediate family members are allowed to compete on the same horse.
Contestant must enter the holding pen the drag before their run order. If a contestant chooses to scratch on any run, please notify the gate or arena staff of the scratch.
Contestants will be called three times, and if not ready to run when called, the contestant will be scratched.
Contestants must run the horse drawn in that draw number position.
The same horse must be run in the same draw position for each Go.
The 2nd Go will be run in reverse order.
NO HORSE SUBSTITUTIONS after a horse has made its first run.
No one is allowed to assist the Contestant past the mouth of the arena.
Josey staff ONLY in the arena during competition.
Any knocked-over barrel will be a no time.
After the timer starts, breaking the timeline for any reason before the completion of the run is a no time.
Every effort will be made to follow NBHA guidelines.
Any dispute will be reviewed by the Rules Committee and all rulings will be final
